Modern Slavery Statement 2022

Modern Slavery Statement 2022

At United Hemp Refinery, we are committed to upholding human rights and ethical business practices. We recognize that modern slavery and human trafficking are significant issues that affect millions of people around the world, and we are committed to doing our part to eradicate these abuses.

As a CBD blog and company, we do not engage in the manufacturing or supply of physical products. However, we work with partners, affiliates, and advertisers who may be involved in the production or distribution of goods. Therefore, we expect our partners to have the same commitment to ethical practices as we do.

We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking, whether it is forced labor, child labor, or any other form of exploitation. We require all of our partners to adhere to our standards of ethical business practices, which include:

Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to labor and human rights.
Prohibition of forced labor, child labor, or any other form of exploitation.
Provision of fair wages and benefits to all employees.
Respect for the rights of workers to join and form trade unions and engage in collective bargaining.
Implementation of policies and procedures to identify, prevent, and address any potential instances of modern slavery or human trafficking within their supply chains.
We are committed to working with partners who share our commitment to ethical business practices and to taking steps to address any issues that may arise. We will continue to monitor our own practices and those of our partners to ensure that we are doing our part to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2022.
